Basic Qualifications

• Programming: Python such as but not limited to: pandas, scikit?learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow
• ML Frameworks such as but not limited to: experience training, evaluating, and tuning models
• Software experience or engineering: such as but not limited to Git, unit testing, CI/CD basics, Docker containers
• Some knowledge of Data Science or Engineering Fundamentals
• 25 years of professional experience building or deploying AI/ML solutions (consulting, startup, or large enterprise)

What youll be doing

• Building, testing, and deploying end-to-end AI/ML models, pipelines, and API services in the customer's production environment using Python, SQL, etc.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuously optimizing deployed solutions to meet performance?SLA and business KPIs
• Serving as the primary technical point of contact for the assigned function and act as the LAIC consulting liaison; translating business requirements into concrete technical designs and articulate model behavior to non-technical audiences
• Partnering with data engineers, product managers, and business leaders to integrate AI/ML work into existing workflows and data infrastructure
• Conducting rapid assessments for current and future opportunities
• Quickly pivoting to new priorities, evolving requirements, or emerging data sources while maintaining delivery cadence

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, etc.

Desired skills

• Prior exposure to client-facing or embedded roles such as but not limited to consulting projects, on-site engineering, cross-functional product teams is highly valued
• Background in SaaS, customer experience, support operations, or manufacturing systems
• Experience deploying AI in mission-critical environments
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems via APIs or middleware (e.g. Salesforce, Servicenow, SAP, Oracle)
• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or relevant field.
• SQL: Strong query-writing & data-wrangling
• Excellent written & verbal communication; can explain technical concepts to senior business leaders
• Strong stakeholder-management instincts; comfortable navigating matrixed organizations
• Experience building and deploying solutions for finance and business (F&BO) customers

Ability to work remotely

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $108,800 - $191,820. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidates final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidates final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
