Mechanical Assistant Project Manager

Job DescriptionPrepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical construction projects. Analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals to determine scope and pricing. Collaborate with project managers and directors to develop accurate bids. Manage vendor and subcontractor pricing and relationships. Utilize Procore and MS Office for documentation and reporting. Ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements. Support continuous improvement in estimating processes.

The Successful Applicant5+ years of experience in mechanical estimating. Background in mechanical systems (plumbing or process piping) - HVAC experience not considered. Experience with lab/life science projects preferred. Must come from a subcontractor environment. Proficiency in Procore and MS Office. Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to commute to North Stonington, CT or Marlborough, MA office.
