Athens Family Vision Clinic and East Athens Family Vision is looking for a FT or PT Doctor of Optometry that can practice full scope optometry. We are an independently owned family-oriented practice with 5 optometrists, and a staff of 32. Our hours are Monday-Thursday: 8:30 - 5:30 and Friday 8:30 - 5:00, no weekends. Each doctor has a dedicated ophthalmic technician to aid in examinations, pretesting, testing, and refractions. We are Primary Care for Optometry with 10 exam lanes, a lab, a full service dispensary, services for scleral contact lenses, use of amniotic membranes, punctal plugs, diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases and injuries, an in-house Dry Eye Clinic with IPL, RF, and many other aesthetic services with a licensed Aesthetician. We pay an excellent (above the average Atlanta rate) per diem rate with an independent contractor or an employment option, bonuses, CE allowance, license fees, health insurance option, vacation, PTO, and 401K. Both offices are very nicely appointed with over 3000 frames.
