Sr Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a proactive Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance of our facilities and equipment, ensuring optimal performance in operations. This role involves coordinating work assignments, coaching technicians, and conducting preventive maintenance tasks. It serves as a stepping stone to a Supervisor/Manager position, providing opportunities for growth and leadership development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform maintenance of facilities and equipment to maximize operational performance.
- Prioritize and coordinate work assignments for Senior Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Coach and mentor Senior Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Technicians through orientation, training, and the establishment of objectives.
- Direct, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs to material-handling equipment.
- Conduct preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on high-tech automated equipment.
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to generate preventive maintenance worksheets and maintain distribution machinery and equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations and good maintenance practices.
- Maintain a safe work environment by documenting and correcting potential safety issues concerning material-handling equipment or the distribution center facility.
Essential Skills:
- Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- PLC troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to coach, lead, and mentor technicians.
- Knowledge of controls systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with mechanical and electrical equipment, including 3 phase motors and 480v systems.
- Proficiency with integrated systems using PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Experience with high-speed automated sorting machines, VFDs, photo eyes, sensors, robotic equipment, gantry cranes, and conveyors.
- Familiarity with PLC PM programs and updating computer status using TMI Systems.

Work Environment:
Work within a dynamic environment that includes maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of equipment such as high-speed automated sorting machines, conveyors, and robotic systems. Regular use of CMMS and TMI Systems software is expected.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $65582.00 - $100235.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
