Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal looking for a role where your skills can truly shine? Our client, a leading Hackensack law firm, has an immediate opening for a talented professional to join their thriving litigation team. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to work on complex, interesting cases in a rewarding and sophisticated legal environment.
Your Impact & Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Master the litigation lifecycle by organizing court materials, managing dockets, and ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Drafting & Filing: Prepare and file a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, with minimal supervision.
- Discovery Guru: Command the e-discovery processfrom identifying and preserving ESI to processing and reviewing documents in Relativity and Concordance.
- Trial Preparation: Become an essential part of the trial team by digesting depositions, coordinating witness prep, and managing exhibits for hearings and trials.
- Communication Hub: Draft correspondence and act as a key liaison between attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications for Success:
- Required: 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm.
- Required: College degree and/or paralegal certificate.
- Required: Expert-level knowledge of e-filing (CM/ECF & NJ eCourts), MSOffice, Relativity, and Concordance.
- You are: Highly organized, a natural team player, and possess outstanding communication skills.
- Bonus Points: Experience with iManage.
