Hospitalist NP/PA Openings in Virginia Beach and Norfolk Locations: Norfolk, VA (Day and Night Options) Norfolk, VA (Nights Only) Virginia Beach, VA (Days) Virginia Beach, VA (Admitter/Swing Shift) Hampton, VA (Days) Position Details: Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Varies by location and shift preference Hospital Setting: Magnet Status Hospitals Collaborative and well-established hospitalist teams Job Description: Seeking Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) to join dynamic hospitalist teams across multiple locations in Virginia. The ideal candidates will provide comprehensive inpatient care, manage acutely ill patients, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Responsibilities: Provide direct inpatient care, including admissions, discharges, and rounding Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop treatment plans Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope of practice Participate in care coordination and discharge planning Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EHR Qualifications: Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Virginia Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist or acute care experience preferred Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills Compensation & Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance Generous paid time off policy $10,000 Commencement Bonus (Nights Only) $5,000 Retention Bonus after years 2 and 3 (Nights Only) $3,000 Annual CME Allowance plus 5 CME Days $5,000 Annual Quality Performance Incentive (QPI) Bonus $10,000 Student Loan Forgiveness Program Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Fully integrated Epic EHR system About the Area: Virginia offers a diverse range of experiences, from the vibrant coastal cities of Norfolk and Virginia Beach to the historic charm of Hampton.
