Senior Product Manager, Device Management

Role overview: Toast is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own Device Management strategy. This role leads Android Systems team and drives cross-team strategy across Device Software and Hardware.
Location: Remote US, with preference for Boston or NYC.
Responsibilities- Lead device management strategy and roadmap, aligning Device Software and Hardware and broader Toast objectives.
- Own all device management initiatives end-to-end.
- Partner with Device Software and Hardware triads (Product, Engineering, Design, QA) for requirements, development, QA, and rollouts.
- Deliver end-to-end product outcomes affecting devices, single-purpose applications, and backend services.
- Collaborate with Toast PMs and go-to-market teams to improve support experiences and enterprise-scale value.
- Define and execute a product vision balancing platform enablement with monetizable customer-facing opportunities.
- Mentor Device Software PMs and coach their product craft.
- Use data tools (Splunk, Snowflake, Hex, Sigma, etc.) to define success metrics and guide roadmap.
- Minimum 5 years of product management experience with end-to-end ownership of large, complex products.
- Experience leading in triad environments (Product, Engineering, Design) plus QA across multiple dev teams.
- Experience operating in software + hardware contexts, ideally within Android Open Source Project environments.
- Strong skills in strategy, roadmap ownership, and cross-functional program management amid ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and ability to influence across teams.
- Data fluency with tools such as Splunk, Snowflake, Hex, and Sigma.
- Experience with enterprise customers and IT managers.
- Background in Mobile Device Management (MDM) product development.
- Experience building platform products and monetizable customer-facing solutions (freemium/PLG).
- Experience mentoring PMs.
- Familiarity with AI-powered product development; bonus if you've shipped AI capabilities.

Compensation and BenefitsThe base salary range for this role is $132,000$211,000 USD. Total rewards include equity where eligible; other compensation and benefits apply. Pay ranges may vary by location and experience.
