Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details: • Perform diagnostic examinations under the direction of an Interventional Cardiologist during invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular study procedures • Conduct subjective data collection and recording to obtain information for accurate anatomical and physiological diagnosis • Call commitment includes 1 week night and 1 weekend per month • Minimum Associate Degree or graduate of approved Cardiovascular Training Program or accredited Allied Health Program required • Certification as Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required • Minimum 2 years experience in cardiovascular specialty required • Must obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications • Local candidates from ineligible counties not accepted as of January 11, 2024 • Work as allied health professional supporting interventional cardiology procedures Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing advanced cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional services.
