Human Resources Business Partner

The HRBP position serves as a strategic partner, providing effective HR operational services and advice to business unit leaders, managers, and staff to support the company's objectives. The role includes consulting on HR-related matters such as performance management, capacity building, talent development, and employee relations. The HRBP acts as an employee champion, leadership coach, strategic partner, and change agent. Responsibilities include managing complex employee relations issues, guiding performance improvement, and working closely with management and employees to enhance work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention. The position involves partnering across HR functions to deliver value-added services aligned with business goals, contributing to HR policy development, capacity building, training programs, and HR data reporting to inform decision-making.
Job Responsibilities- Provide strategic guidance and coordinate policies, procedures, departmental planning, employee relations, compensation, workforce planning, and organizational structure.
- Partner and advise management at all levels on HR matters.
- Act as a liaison between employees and management regarding company policies, practices, and regulations.
- Manage employee relations, counseling, and exit interviews.
- Evaluate reports and departmental results against goals, recommending improvements.
- Support HR data management and reporting, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, including FAA & ITAR requirements.
- Assist with employee benefits questions and oversee special projects.
- Guide management during termination processes.
- BA Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (desirable).
- 1-5 years of experience in HR-related positions.
- Knowledge of HR practices, legal aspects (ADA, FMLA, EEOC, FLSA), and proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
