Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience within the Electrical/Distribution space
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in project management and managing electrical distribution projects within the utility industry.
  • Experience building out phase gate approach and processes with external stakeholders from inception to completion.
  • Proficiency in project management and data analytics tools, including SAP, Business Objects, MS Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with stakeholders on budgets and risk mitigation to ensure projects run efficiently.

Job Description

Our client is looking to stand up a Project Management Office (PMO) with the objective of creating a centralized department that establishes and maintains project management standards, processes, and best practices within an organization for electric distribution projects and operations. The primary goal is to ensure projects are executed efficiently, align with organizational objectives, and achieve desired outcomes. Evergreen is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support reliability initiatives with our utility client. These professionals will be working on large electrical distribution feeder projects, wildfire risk mitigations, network monitoring, end of life replacement, and programs across various states and CoOps. This individual will be reporting to a Sr. Project Manager where they will be responsible for assisting in project planning, project execution, reporting, project closeout, and communication with stakeholders. This role pays between 50.48-70.00/hr.
