divh2Lead Data Engineer/h2pMantech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Data Engineer to join our Data and AI Practice onsite in Chantilly and/or Herndon, VA. You will be a part of a dynamic, cross-functional team focused on transforming how Government clients extract insights from data to achieve critical mission objectives. This leadership role involves guiding a team and collaborating with others to implement this transformative process. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the analysis, design, implementation, and optimization of complex, enterprise-wide, cloud-based data migration solutions that align with mission goals and requirements./ppResponsibilities include but are not limited to:/pulliLead the design, development, and deployment of robust data pipelines to ingest, transform, and integrate data from various systems and networks, ensuring seamless data flow./liliCollaborate with cloud and system architects to establish secure and efficient data transfer protocols among different networks and systems./liliWork with data consumers to develop data requirements to support analytics and machine learning tasks./liliImplement data pipelines and data storage solutions to support analytic workflows./liliOptimize data pipelines and storage solutions for performance, ensuring low latency and high throughput for real-time and batch data processing./liliImplement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant data security policies and practices./li/ulpMinimum qualifications:/pulliBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and at least 10 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles./liliExperience with data replication and change data capture tools such as Oracle GoldenGate./liliExperience with cloud services from providers such as Oracle and their data storage and database services./liliDemonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of engineers./liliDirect line management experience, including project, people, customer, and financial management./liliExperience with data warehousing, data lakes, and big data technologies./liliProficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases./li/ulpPreferred qualifications:/pulliMasters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field./liliFamiliarity with data security and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST framework)./liliCloud certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure./liliFamiliarity with records management policies and procedure./liliFamiliarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka./liliKnowledge of data governance and metadata management./li/ulpClearance requirements:/ppMust possess a current and active TS/SCI with polygraph./ppPhysical requirements:/ppMust be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time. Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer. The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc./p/div
