Compensation: $1,200$1,400 weekly
OverviewCK Transportation is seeking qualified Class A CDL A Drivers based in Detroit, Michigan. This opportunity is structured to support reliable weekly income, predictable scheduling, and consistent home time. Drivers operate within an established regional network designed to provide steady miles while maintaining a balanced work routine.
Schedule & Home TimeDrivers work a five-day weekly schedule with guaranteed weekend home time of at least 48 hours. Assigned routes run primarily within the Northeast region, enabling drivers to remain productive during the week while returning home regularly. This structure supports a dependable work rhythm for drivers who value both consistency on the road and time spent at home.
CompensationAverage weekly earnings range from $1,200 to $1,400. Drivers are eligible for a weekly minimum of $1,200 through the pay program, helping ensure stable income even during periods when mileage may fluctuate. Pay is issued weekly on Fridays to support consistent financial planning.
Primary ResponsibilitiesDrivers are responsible for safely operating Class A CDL A equipment across assigned regional lanes, managing on-time freight delivery, and maintaining adherence to all safety and regulatory expectations. This role requires clear communication with dispatch, proper load documentation, and completion of all necessary logs and operational records.
EquipmentDrivers operate late-model Freightliner Cascadia tractors, 2019 or newer. Equipment features include automatic transmissions, SiriusXM capability, in-cab refrigerators, double bunks, APUs, 1500-watt inverters, and 24-inch TVs. These units are designed to promote comfort and reliability on the road.
Experience RequirementsApplicants must be at least 21 years of age. Qualified candidates meet one of the following experience standards: three months of OTR experience within the past year, six months of OTR or local experience within the past year, or one year of OTR experience within the past three years.
OrientationDrivers complete a 2.5-day paid orientation process. CK Transportation covers hotel accommodations and meals, and participants receive $500 in orientation pay. The process is structured to transition drivers smoothly into active service.
