Pricing Business Analyst

The Pricing Business Analyst role bridges operations, sales, and IT, using data insights and AI tools to enhance pricing strategies, purchasing decisions, and profitability. This position plays a central role in analytics, system management, and driving smarter decision-making across departments.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze pricing, purchasing, and sales data to identify opportunities for improved margins
  • Apply AI and forecasting tools to guide dynamic pricing and product mix strategies
  • Develop reports and dashboards with IBM Cognos and other BI platforms to support business decisions
  • Administer ERP and routing systems, ensuring data accuracy and user access management
  • Support IT functions including Microsoft 365 administration and system onboarding for new hires
  • Maintain the online ordering platform and generate customer reports for internal and external use
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of experience
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using AI tools for problem-solving
  • Proficient in BI software (e.g., IBM Cognos), Excel, and data visualization
  • Familiarity with ERP and routing systems
  • Understanding of pricing strategies, sales data, and margin optimization
  • Effective communicator with cross?functional collaboration skills and willingness to learn
