Assistant Project Manager

BCCI Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support overall construction management for single and/or multiple projects in Silicon Valley, CA. The role is responsible for ensuring quality control, profitability, and client satisfaction through effective project delivery and financial oversight.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, maintain, and distribute project documents to ensure procedural and contractual compliance.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, resolving issues in coordination with Field Operations.
  • Prepare, edit, and distribute required project documentation for construction meetings.
  • Review drawings and subcontractor scope, and prepare potential Change Order and Change Order Requests.
  • Coordinate project close?out activities and ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor project schedule, update it, and communicate changes as necessary.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to Project Engineers and new Assistant Project Managers.
  • Contribute to company culture, mission and values through leadership and actions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: College degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. Certificate in Construction Management required if no college degree.

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of construction documentation and pricing.
  • Proficiency with company software (Procore, CMiC) and Microsoft Office/Project.
  • Strong organizational and deadline management abilities.

Experience: 24 years experience in the construction industry.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: Standard office environment with occasional on?site visits; required to stand, walk, manage light loads up to 20 lbs. Safety and health requirements apply.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 $120,000.
