  • 10+ years of project management experience delivering IT software projects.
  • Managed a majority of projects from start to close.
  • Managed project financial costs, including preparing financial forecasts, reconciling invoices, and timekeeping.
  • Increased accountability within project management career.
  • 10+ years of IT and/or P&C Insurance industry experience (supervisory experience is a plus).
  • Advanced user of MS Project, experienced with managing plans that contain auto?scheduled, effort?driven tasks.
  • Expert-level capability in all project management competencies: planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling IT projects.
  • Experience managing vendors, requesting, and executing SOWs.
  • Strong sense of urgency to meet project deadlines; pushes the team to ensure timeliness.
  • Strong customer focus: responsive, consultative, collaborative, and accurate in work approach; considers project impacts from the business perspective.
  • Active PMP or equivalent certification preferred; in lieu of certification, substantial senior project management experience required.
  • Able to create clear, concise messaging to all organizational levels and deliver difficult messages to stakeholders and leaders.
  • Exercises sound judgment, making informed, successful decisions from a set of complex options.
