Job Summary

Responsible for inventory management, stocking, and timely delivery of requisitioned supplies throughout the hospital to support clinical staff while maintaining cost?effective operations.

Essential Functions
  • Restock par locations with same?day ordered products.
  • Scan and transmit par location orders daily by 11:00?a.m.
  • Process and deliver phone requests within 45?minutes, providing follow?up if delayed.
  • Charge out items taken directly from the Stat Room to requesting departments.
  • Deliver supplies to assigned floors and assist in restocking Stat Room items.
  • Report stock shortages and changes in usage patterns to the supervisor.
  • Support the Receiving Clerk during peak times or staff absences.
  • Participate in annual inventories and random cycle counts.
  • Rotate stock and check for expired products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized Stat Room, including daily sweeping and disposal of cardboard.
  • Ensure area security by reporting safety concerns and securing access points.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Experience
Previous experience preferred

  • Basic computer skills are helpful.
