We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Home Health Nurse (RN) to enhance our team and provide exceptional care to our patients in their homes. Your critical role will involve assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans for patients with a variety of medical needs.

Position Details:

  • Type: 13-week contract
  • Location: King County
  • Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-home direct patient care according to the prescribed plan while monitoring patient progress and recovery closely.
  • Evaluate and document patient conditions, reporting any significant changes (including vital signs, blood/stool/urine analysis, glucose levels, etc.).
  • Administer prescribed medications, including insulin and IV/fluids, with thorough documentation.
  • Examine and treat wounds, changing dressings as needed, and assist with personal hygiene tasks.
  • Monitor patients for additional injuries, infections, or bedsores and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, aides, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current active RN License in Washington State.
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience as a Home Health Nurse (RN).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Two professional references.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug test.
