Job Summary and Qualifications

We seek a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery center. Under the direction of your physician, you will conduct a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring compliance with established protocols for optimal patient outcomes. We want your expertise to help improve patient care

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures.
  • Assess patient conditions before and during radiologic procedures.
  • Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids according to physician preferences.
  • Test and monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Document patient records accurately in accordance with approved policies.
  • Confirm that all individuals in the procedure room are appropriately shielded prior to activation of x-ray equipment.
  • Communicate patient status with other care team members.
  • Maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning and calibration protocols.

Qualifications You Will Need:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technician, preferably in an operating room or surgery center.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • BLS certification required (within 30 days of start).
  • State Radiology Technician license required.
