Your role

Reporting to the Production Maintenance Manager,

Weare currently seeking 4 Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technicians, one D-Shift, oneE - Shift, and 2 C shift.

D -Shift Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11:00am - 11:30pm, 20% shiftdifferential
E -Shift Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11:00pm - 11:30am, 25% shift differential

C - Shift Hours: 11:00pm - 7:30am, 15% shift differential

Performpreventative maintenance activities and set-ups on specific pharmaceuticalmanufacturing and/or packaging equipment and systems. Provides maintenancesupport to manufacturing personnel during the operation of specific types ofmanufacturing and packaging equipment and systems. Can diagnose basic problemsand performing simple repairs on manufacturing and packaging equipment on whichthe mechanic has been previously trained on. May assist Master Mechanicsor Senior Mechanics with repairs to equipment. Works in a supervisedenvironment. Holders of this position typically have a basic mechanicalaptitude and limited experience with automated equipment. Developing knowledgein specific processing areas such as liquid packaging lines, solid packaginglines, tablet presses, capsule fillers, fluidized processing equipment, etc.

ESSENTIALDUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
EquipmentAvailable as Required by the Production Schedule
Performsset-ups on specific manufacturing and packaging equipment, for which mechanichas been trained on, following required procedures. May assist Master orSenior Mechanic with more complex set-ups.
Assistswith production operations by helping the operators run the equipment andassists with cleaning of equipment by disassembling equipment and components asrequired by cleaning procedures.
ReliableEquipment
Performspreventative maintenance on manufacturing and packaging systems. Typicallyinvolves following detailed established procedures.
Performsrequired, programmed testing of equipment or systems, and requiring carefuldocumentation of results.
Performssimple repairs to types of equipment and systems on which individual has beentrained.
Diagnosesproblems on specific types of equipment and systems to determine what repairsare required.
Documentation
Maintainslogbooks.
Closeswork orders by ensuring that documentation is completed that accuratelyreflects situation and actions taken.

Your profile

REQUIREDEDUCATION:
HighSchool Diploma / GED

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
3 ormore years work experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
Trainingin a skilled trade is desired

SPECIFICSKILLS:
Basicknowledge of mechanical principles and automated equipment.
Understandingand applying industry standards for their trade.
Commercial/Industrialelectrical systems, electrical and pneumatic controls, PLC, and VSD systems.
Knowledgeof pneumatics and hydraulics
Basicmechanical aptitude and general machine knowledge.
Abilityto work with all hand tools.
Abilityto fabricate simple components.
Workfrom technical manuals and instructional documents.
Performmathematical calculations.
Abilityto adhere to planned work tasks and schedule.
UtilizeMP2 computerized maintenance management system using PDA

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENT:
Worksmainly in a manufacturing environment with some disagreeable elements such asnoise, dust, fumes, heat, safety hazards, etc.
Climbladders, standing/walking 90% of time, sitting 10 % of time.
Moderatelifting with up to 50 lbs. At times required.
Musthave physical mobility and dexterity to frequently stand, bend, push, twist,kneel, climb, stoop, and reach overhead and able to stand for long periods oftime while performing duties.
Considerablemental/visual concentration, coordinating manual dexterity with mental/visualattention.
Mustbe able to operate power equipment.
Mustbe able to work safely with materials and equipment; works with chemicals,tools, and equipment.
Maywork in an environment with variable but moderately high noise levels (hearingprotection recommended). Must wear safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, andother protective items as required.
Mustwear appropriate garments and coverings per cGMP (uniforms, hair/beard nets,etc.).
Mustbe available for flexible schedule and/or overtime. Days and hours ofwork subject to change due to production schedules.
Maybe required to be on call on a rotating schedule.
Requiredto carry a phone or pager

Compensation range

25,00 - 35,00 USD
