Experienced Pipe Superintendent needed for a growing Industrial Construction Company

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Construction Pipe Superintendent to oversee mechanical and piping field operations on industrial projects. The Superintendent will lead field crews and subcontractors to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient project execution that meets design specifications, schedule requirements, and budget expectations.

This is a working superintendent role-hands-on leadership in the field combined with strong coordination and communication skills to manage day-to-day project activities.

Pay & Benefits

  • $34 to $38 Per Hour (Based on Experience)

Job Requirements:
  • Lead and supervise all field pipefitters, welders, and mechanical craft employees to ensure timely, quality construction progress.
  • Review and interpret project documents including drawings, blueprints, and scopes of work.
  • Actively train and mentor employees in all mechanical and construction-related practices.
  • Coordinate and manage the work of employees and subcontractors to meet or exceed project schedule, safety, and quality standards.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Project Managers and company leadership regarding progress, challenges, and changing site conditions.
  • Enforce strict compliance with all company and OSHA safety regulations; ensure proper use of PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, work boots, harnesses, etc.
  • Complete and upload required documentation including daily reports, manpower logs, JSAs, tool inventories, progress updates, and timesheets.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of field experience in industrial construction, with strong background in piping, rigging, welding, and mechanical systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience as a superintendent, foreman, or equivalent role.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Excellent management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Ability to travel to various project sites within the market area.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain.
  • Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and access elevated work areas.
  • Capable of performing physical work including kneeling, standing, bending, or lifting up to 75 lbs.
