Title: Senior Operations Supervisor

Location: Lancaster, CA

Salary: $150,000 - $160,000, 15% bonus, health, PTO, relocations

Job Description:
  • Producing a safe and hazard free work environment for the facility.
  • Operating the plants as efficiently as possible complying with the standards of quality, safety and environmental required by the regulations state.
  • Continuous engagement with plant staff at all levels to identify, correct and ensure effectiveness of controls related to hazards and their respective risks during normal and maintenance activities throughout the facility.
  • Works with the Maintenance Manager to ensure both planned and unplanned plant outages are performed safely and efficiently.
  • Implement training and qualification programs to assure that plant procedures are understood and properly followed by all plant personnel.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of plant policies and procedures to assure that they reflect current plant operating requirements.
  • Verify that the certification status of affected operation personnel is maintained current.
  • Ensure that the morale and motivation of plant personnel is maintained at a high level at all times.
  • Oversee the preparation of required client and utility reports, budgets, environmental compliance reports, etc.
  • Provide direction and oversight to plant personnel including objective setting and performance reviews.
  • Participate in the development of budgets and operating plans that is consistent with the objectives of the business.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to correspondence and requests for information.
  • Ensure training and development of plant personnel.
  • Engage, direct and support those who contribute to the effectiveness of the Management System. Support other management roles to demonstrate leadership.
  • Ensure training and development of the Operations team members improving their professional skills.
  • Resolve employee issues, engaging Human Resources as necessary when relevant.
  • Be responsible for the effectiveness of the Management System and its integration into business processes.
  • Engage, direct and support team members who contribute to the effectiveness of the Management System. Support other management roles to demonstrate leadership.
