Senior Project Manager - Transportation
Location: Chicagoland Region
Compensation: $110,000+

Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will lead and manage a diverse portfolio of transportation projects, including roadway construction, rehabilitation and reconstruction, traffic signal design, and planning studies. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple transportation projects simultaneously
- Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Lead and mentor project teams
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders
- Support marketing and business development efforts
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of transportation engineering experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Strong knowledge of IDOT standards, including Phase I / Phase II design and MFT requirements (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities
- Valid driver’s license
