Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist processes invoices and payment applications for corporate clients in a timely and accurate manner. They resolve all accounts receivable issues with customers, adhering to monthly collection goals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processes invoices and payment applications
  • Processes credit card payments
  • Responds to customer calls and e-mails in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Resolves all accounts receivable issues with customers
  • Investigates denied and short-paid transactions
  • Adheres to monthly collection goals
  • Negotiates past due balances
  • Issues credit memos as needed and authorized

Position Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or other related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in business or customer service
  • Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with WorkDay and Salesforce

Pay: This is an hourly position with wages starting at $23.50 and pays up to $31.75, based on experience and qualifications.
