Key Responsibilities
As a CNA in the home, your role is vital in ensuring clients receive high-quality care tailored to their needs. Your duties will include:
Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Providing companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
Monitoring and reporting changes in client health or behavior.
Performing light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
Maintaining accurate records of client care and progress in your care notes.
Requirements
Home Health Aide Certificate from an accredited school or agency
Current CPR completed in person
State Required certifications for home care: Alzheimer's and Dementia, Assistance with Self Administration of Medication, and HIV/AIDS courses (these courses can be taken online at RN.org or CNAzone.com)
Weekend and week day availability
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to clients’ homes.
A genuine passion for helping others and improving lives.
Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
