Job Title: Project Engineer 3 - Civil Project Engineer - Design

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Salary: $115,000 - $130,000/yr.

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is a minimum requirement.
  • A significant experience of 5-15 years in the field of civil engineering is essential.
  • A valid PE (Professional Engineer) License is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in computer-based design tools, such as AutoCAD, GIS, and REVIT, is required.
  • Familiarity with the industry's prevailing design standards is necessary.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities are essential for this role.
  • Effective time management skills are crucial to handle project timelines efficiently.
  • A self-motivated individual with a strong desire for professional growth will be preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a registered insured vehicle is necessary.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the work of drafting personnel, technicians, or other engineers while also providing guidance to junior staff members.
  • Manage project tasks, ensuring they are completed within the allocated schedule and budget.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other departments for smooth project execution.
  • Collect data for cost estimating and review preliminary equipment costs.
  • Research and implement innovative methods and procedures to improve project efficiency.
  • Cultivate client relationships to secure repeat business opportunities and begin developing business development skills.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and concise conclusions to convey project results effectively.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of engineering design standards and practices to meet client requirements and uphold company standards.
  • Generate design calculations, drawings, and specifications or conduct feasibility studies as needed.
  • Maintain detailed project records and documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
