Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects within scope, schedule, and budget in support of the client's operational and regulatory objectives. This role manages cross-functional teams and vendor partners to deliver capital improvements, technology deployments, and business process enhancements aligned with utility best practices. Responsibilities and Qualifications will vary based on the project.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting for utility-related projects (infrastructure, IT systems, regulatory compliance, customer service platforms).
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with internal teams, regulators, contractors, and community partners.
- Manage risk, change control, and project governance according to client's standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver project status reporting and executive communications.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- 5-10 years of project management experience, ideally in utilities, energy, or regulated industries.
- PMP or similar certification preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Experience with one or more: SAP, GIS, Enterprise Asset Management, Customer Lifecycle Management, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure & Network, OT & Gas Controls or utility operations systems a plus.
