Job Description
  • The internal auditor will report to the Audit Manager and help conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Identify and evaluate risks, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate them.
  • Help prepare clear and concise audit reports for management, detailing findings and suggested improvements.
  • Review and audit transactions so they align with contracts.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in the development and execution of the annual audit plan.
  • Provide support during external audits and regulatory examinations.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and transparency across the organization.
  • This role is in office and based in Beverly Hills, CA.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Internal Auditor should have:
  • A background in internal audit coming from industry, financial services, or public accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with internal audit methodologies and risk assessment techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with auditing tools and software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the energy & natural resources industry is advantageous.
  • This role is in office and based in Beverly Hills, CA.
