- Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel for timely resolution.
- Keep imaging rooms clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Accurately document all imaging procedures performed, including patient information, imaging techniques used, and any contrast materials administered.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Ensure timely and secure transmission of images and reports to the radiology department or referring physicians.
- Radiation Safety:
- Adhere to established radiation safety guidelines to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and yourself.
- Use protective lead aprons, shields, and other safety measures as required during imaging procedures.

- Professional Development and Compliance:
- Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and imaging techniques by participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures, regarding radiologic practices and patient care.
- Maintain certification and licensure as required by state and national accrediting bodies.
- Licensure/Certification: Must hold a current and valid certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and state licensure where applicable. Additional certifications, such as in CT or MRI, are highly desirable.
