Summary of Position/Purpose:

The Compliance Analyst will provide administrative support in a complex fast-paced environment within the Company's Legal Department. The Compliance Analyst will support several highly confidential and comprehensive activities by rendering departmental and practice-ready assistance to the Company, in all stages of legal and compliance related tasks.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:

  • Proactively facilitate administrative support related to regulatory compliance and confidential legal issues.
  • Act as an administrative back-up in responding to routine customer requests from region locations.
  • Organize and update corporate records, contracts, and all other legal, and or compliance, documentation.
  • Manage Regulatory Compliance Calendar with filing requirement deadlines and issue-specific alerts.
  • Advise Legal staff on Regulatory Compliance Calendar deadlines, renewals, and seasonal requirements.
  • Correspond with suppliers, customers, and employees in a professional and effective manner.
  • Maintain general understanding of corporate policies and handles certain routine tasks independently.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent academic and or work experience required.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a corporate and or law firm environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, accurate, and detail-oriented, with sound judgment and integrity.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of effectiveness and efficiency under important deadlines.
  • Self-starter with excellent anticipation, problem solving and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated dependability and sense of urgency while exhibiting objective results.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
