Your Role as an Automotive Transmission Technician:
Expert Diagnostics & Repairs
- Transmission Repairs & Rebuilds: Perform in-depth inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on transmission systems.
- Advanced Diagnostics: Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify issues and ensure precise and efficient repairs.
- Quality Repairs: Deliver accurate, high-quality work to exceed customer expectations and ensure vehicle performance and safety.
- Warranty Repairs: Complete warranty work according to manufacturer specifications to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance.
Organized & Productive Environment
- Workstation Management: Keep your tools and workspace well-organized and ready for daily operations.
- Efficient Time Management: Balance multiple repair orders while maintaining high standards and minimizing customer downtime.
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Team-Oriented Environment: Collaborate with service advisors, parts departments, and other technicians to complete jobs efficiently.
- Problem Solving: Tackle complex transmission challenges with the support of experienced colleagues and management.
Qualifications:
Experience & Skills
- Transmission Repair Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Automotive Transmission Technician.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of transmission systems, including repair, rebuild, and diagnostics.
Education & Certification
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- Vocational Training or Certification: Preferred in automotive transmission repair is highly valued.
Additional Requirements
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential for test-driving and transporting vehicles.
