About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Technologist to join our client's team in the oil and gas sector. In this role, you will contribute to designing offshore and onshore structures, leading the team in delivering fabrication-level drawings, and managing project workflows efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Design offshore and onshore oil and gas structures.
- Lead the team to deliver fabrication-level drawings.
- Communicate with regional offices, other engineering disciplines, and fabricators to manage projects from initiation to installation.
- Mentor team members in 3D modeling tools and structural concepts.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as TEKLA, PDMS, and CAD Worx.
- Experience in delivering fabrication-level drawings in accordance with specifications.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with multiple teams.
- Ability to manage people, scheduling, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in developing efficient processes and methodologies for error-free modeling and drawing delivery.
- Knowledge of additional industry-specific software or practices.
