Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: OH and PA (multiple locations)

Pay: $95,000 - $140,000 base, 13-15% bonus, profit sharing, health, 401k, relocation, etc.

In this role you will be part of day to day plant electrical reliability, RCA, FIN, for motors, pumps, generator and electrical systems. This is a team based role with team projects as well as individual project management. This role will also be part of outage planning and management.

Summary:
The Plant Support Electrical Engineer provides hands-on technical support for a wide range of electrical distribution systems and equipment, from 24VDC to 345kVAC. This position is part of a multidisciplinary engineering team that serves as the first line of response for emergent and near-term engineering needs, including troubleshooting, equipment assessments, and minor design modifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to resolve short term and long term engineering issues.
  • Serve as the electrical engineering point of contact for daily plant operations and maintenance activities.
  • Support troubleshooting and failure analysis of motors, generators, relay protection systems, and electrical distribution networks.
  • Prepare and implement minor design modifications and equipment upgrades.
  • Participate in post-work testing, equipment condition assessments, and operability evaluations.
  • Develop technical reports, recommendations, and analyses to support operational reliability.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure timely and effective resolution of plant issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in a power plant or industrial environment.
