Position: Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist
Location: Las Cruces, NM
Job Type: Full-time
A leading cardiovascular program in southern New Mexico is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Heart Failure Cardiologist to pioneer a dedicated heart failure service line. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape advanced cardiac care in an underserved region, supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
• Establish and lead the region's first advanced heart failure program
• Manage complex heart failure cases using the latest evidence-based therapies
• Collaborate with general and interventional cardiologists, nurses, dietitians, and pharmacists
• Monday-Thursday schedule (8 AM-5 PM) and Friday (8 AM-4 PM) with 1:7 general cardiology call rotation
• Opportunity to participate in clinical trials and program development

Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Advanced fellowship training or certification in Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
• Eligible for New Mexico medical licensure and DEA certification
