Looking for a skilled Roofing Superintendent to lead and develop a full-time roofing crew.
This role is critical in managing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering top-quality roofing projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Crew Management:
- Supervise, hire, train, and mentor W-2 roofing crew members.
- Ensure efficient workflow and perform clerical tasks like timecards, schedules, and work authorizations.
- Step in to perform roofing duties when necessary.
- Plan and oversee roofing projects to meet timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and vendors for smooth execution.
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment to ensure job readiness.
- Inspect work for safety compliance and quality standards.
- Conduct safety training and enforce safety protocols.
- Address issues promptly and perform final walkthroughs to resolve defects.
- Submit daily reports on labor, materials, and challenges.
- Identify and resolve issues to minimize project delays.
- 3+ years of experience leading commercial roofing crews.
- Knowledge of various roofing systems, including built-up asphalt.
- Ability to read and coordinate blueprints and project specs.
- Must pass pre-employment screening and lift 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights, in varying weather, and climbing ladders.
