Head of Product - Data & AI Platforms
Location: Flexible (Remote / Hybrid Options Available)

We're partnering with a leading technology organization seeking a seasoned Product Leader to drive strategy and execution for their enterprise Data & AI Platforms. This leader will oversee a team of Product Managers responsible for enabling real-time, batch, analytics, and generative AI capabilities at scale-serving engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders across the organization.

This is a high-impact, high-ownership role focused on platform enablement, self-service tooling, and generative AI adoption-empowering cross-functional teams to build smarter, faster, and with greater autonomy.

What You'll Do:
Product Strategy & Vision
  • Define the long-term vision and roadmap for Data & AI Platforms
  • Align product direction with company-wide platform and technology goals
  • Drive clarity on product objectives, KPIs, and value outcomes across teams
AI & GenAI Platforms
  • Lead development and expansion of Generative AI capabilities, tailoring platform offerings for diverse personas (developers, analysts, data scientists, product teams)
  • Prioritize high-value GenAI use cases, guide build-vs-buy decisions, and drive internal evangelization and adoption
Data Platform Leadership
  • Oversee a portfolio of data products, including data lakes, pipelines (batch and real-time), ingestion, processing, quality controls, and governance
  • Deliver cloud-native platform solutions that operate at scale in a Google Cloud (GCP) environment
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Infrastructure teams to design and deliver best-in-class internal platforms
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner for executive leadership and department heads across product, engineering, and operations
Team Leadership
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of Product Managers
  • Cultivate a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Integrate cross-product strategies to ensure scalable platform adoption
Product Marketing & Adoption
  • Own internal go-to-market strategies for Data & AI tools
  • Ensure internal teams understand platform capabilities, best practices, and how to extract value
Continuous Improvement
  • Track product performance using platform KPIs and adoption metrics
  • Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and competitive intelligence to continuously refine product offerings
We'd Love to See:
  • 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven expertise building and scaling data or AI platform products, preferably cloud-native
  • Deep understanding of modern data technologies: streaming, batch pipelines, data lakes, analytical stores, quality frameworks
  • Familiarity with GenAI models, tools, and integrations across enterprise use cases
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure), infrastructure tooling, and architecture planning
  • Strong ability to collaborate with engineers, manage multiple roadmaps, and operate in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, especially when translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience managing multi-sprint backlogs, prioritizing conflicting needs, and delivering incremental platform value
Bonus Experience:
  • Exposure to compliance and governance tooling within data platforms
  • Experience in multi-tenant platform enablement for both internal and customer-facing teams
  • Background in platform marketing, internal adoption, or enablement initiatives
