Stonebrook Exterior is seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofing Journeyman to join our team. The Roofing Journeyman is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems. They work with materials such as shingles, metal, and flat roofing, ensuring durability and weather resistance.

Essential Job Functions

  • Install and repair shingle, metal, and flat roofing systems.
  • Conduct roof inspections to assess damage and determine repair needs.
  • Apply weatherproofing materials, including sealants and coatings.
  • Operate power tools and heavy equipment
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and building codes.
  • Work in various weather conditions and at heights.
  • Collaborate with contractors, supervisors, and clients to complete projects efficiently.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Preferred Talents
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency with relevant tools and equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety practices.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods.
  • Agility to maneuver on uneven terrain and climb ladders or scaffolding as necessary.
  • Physical dexterity to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of experience in roofing installation.
