Description
- Conduct patient evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient realms to craft personalized treatment strategies
- Implement physical therapy techniques to improve mobility, strength, and overall function
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, physicians, and rehab specialists to maximize patient recovery
- Inform patients and their families about treatment objectives and home exercise routines
- Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient progress according to compliance mandates
- Engage in team meetings and round discussions to foster cohesive care and seamless transitions
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or similar accredited qualification
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Preferred CPR certification
- Specialty certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are advantageous but not mandatory
- Prior experience is highly desirable
- Capability to treat patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork proficiency
- Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation is a must
