We are looking for a Sr. Database Administrator with 10+ years experience supporting large scale or enterprise level database services. Support for 24×7 production database environment. After-hours call in support be necessary when scheduled.

Managing/Senior Principal Consultant designs and implements individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise. Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology. Provides implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows. Performs routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security. Performs system optimization, performance tuning and assists in capacity planning. Performs proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations.

Requirements
  • TS/SCI FSP Clearance
  • BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent year’s experience
  • Sec + CE or higher
  • 10 + years experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Postress, and MySQL & Oracle’s database (10 – current)
  • Extensive experience with database design, as well as, the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning
  • Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills
Desired Skills
  • Experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup and recovery
  • Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration
