Advanced Practice Nurse - FT Float - HOPD

Job Summary:
The Advanced Practice Nurse is an expert clinician and patient advocate in a particular specialty or subspecialty of nursing practice. The Advanced Practice Nurse can be a credentialed Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner. The Advanced Practice Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning health promotion and preventive care within this specialized area of practice and prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of health problems according to established joint nursing/medical protocols. In addition to direct practice, the sub-roles of the Advanced Practice Nurse role include education, research and consultation. The Advanced Practice Nurse is involved in indirect practice activities with the goal of improving the quality of care across the continuum of care.

Job Essentials: Education Requirements:
- Master's Degree required
- Certified in Specialty required
- New Jersey APN License
- CDS and DEA Registrations
- Current BLS and ACLS

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum salary does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the salary range, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
Salary range: $55.00/hour - $75.00/hour
