Overview

Cambrian Homecare, LLC is hiring individuals with the passion to provide one-on-one care to children or adults with developmental disabilities in their homes.

Must have CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) Card and or Certificate and experience with aggressive behaviors

Hourly Wage: Pay rate is based upon assigned client(s) location ($22.00-$24.00)

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for developmentally disabled individuals with challenging behaviors, to relieve family members from daily living activities.
  • Implement behavior management strategies including responding to physically aggressive behavior, as trained.
  • Engage with the client through activities that they enjoy.
  • Recognize and respond to behavioral patterns to anticipate and prevent triggers for behaviors.
  • Provide crisis intervention with the client's safety in mind.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the client and family.
Qualifications
  • 18+ years old
  • Ability to pass a background check, live scan, and reference check
  • Must have experience with developmental disabilities with behaviors and aggression
  • Must have CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) Card and or certificate
  • Current TB test, Physical, CPR and First Aid certification (valid within 30 days of hire)
