Senior Business Systems Analyst

Job Duration: 11-12 Months (possibility of extension)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works fairly independently on the most complex projects, at the highest technical level, of all phases of applications systems analysis activities.
- Formulates or defines system Product and objectives, based on user needs.
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems, considering computer capacity and limitations, operating time, and desired results.
- Works with multiple business units, in multi-platform environments, on multi-project assignments.
- Guides and advises less experienced Systems Analysts.
- Monitored on projects' progress and results.
- Errors may cause delay, expense, and disruption.
- Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or equivalent engineering or business-related field strongly preferred.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalency required.
- Ideal background would IT experience with another electric utility.
- Vendor relationships and installation/maintenance of COTS applications.
- Scripting in SQL, PowerShell, Bash.
- Problem Solving/Debugging.
- Server Maintenance.
- Self directed and highly motivated with a positive attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with IT and customer teams.
- Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Documentation and requirements gathering.
- Strong analytical ability.
- In Person Interview.
