Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging experts committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, and provide comfort and clarity to patients through accurate and timely imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures by communicating each step with empathy and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues that may arise
• Accurately document procedures and manage patient records using the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
