About Our Client

Our client, a general contractor, based in Leesburg, VA, specializes in Job Order Contracting (JOC) and small to mid-size construction projects for public sector clients, including K-12 schools, municipalities, and local government agencies. Projects typically range from $50K to $3M and include renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and small base building work. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company at the ground level. Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Municipal/Gov Projects - NoVA will:
  • Assist Project Managers on 2-4 active projects
  • Perform construction administration tasks: submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes
  • Participate in estimating and proposal preparation
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
  • Conduct site visits and attend project meetings
  • Maintain project documentation using Procore and Microsoft Office tools
  • Track schedules, budgets, and project milestones

The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Project Manager - Municipal/Gov Projects - NoVA will have:
  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial or government construction
  • Ability to manage small projects independently (under $500K) is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Estimating experience is highly preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Excel, and Procore
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

  • Competitive salary: $80,000-$95,000
