Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including x-rays and CAT scans, and assist in diagnostic or research procedures using nonradioactive materials. This role requires a patient-focused approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings based on examination requirements.
• Position patients and equipment for optimal imaging of specific body areas as requested by physicians.
• Administer contrast materials or nonradioactive substances under radiologist supervision.
• Monitor patient conditions and ensure comfort and safety throughout procedures.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards for both patients and staff.
• Evaluate image quality for diagnostic purposes and retake as needed.
• Enter, maintain, and review patient records using electronic health systems.
• Maintain a high standard of personal and professional hygiene and appearance.
• Travel to and rotate between multiple locations (required).
Schedule:
• Weekdays: Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM
• Flexibility for 8- or 10-hour shifts (close may go beyond 6:30 PM)
• Weekends: Every other Saturday or Sunday (never both in the same week)
Requirements:
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• ARRT certification and applicable state licensure (if required)
• Bilingual skills strongly preferred (Spanish, Russian, or Chinese)
• Proficiency in customer service and patient interaction
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and remain focused amidst frequent interruptions
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
