Location: San Francisco, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation Range: $300,000–$310,000 annually
Role Description:
We are seeking a Director of Pediatric Services to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for a mission-driven Pediatrics Department in San Francisco, CA. This position is responsible for managing pediatric providers and staff, enhancing care delivery, and ensuring that services are efficient, compliant, and culturally responsive to the community served.
Key Functions:
- Provide day-to-day clinical oversight and leadership to pediatric providers
- Create and maintain an inclusive, collaborative team environment
- Design and implement departmental protocols, workflows, and quality initiatives
- Monitor key performance indicators and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with other clinical departments to integrate pediatric services
- Support fiscal stewardship by managing departmental resources within budget
Requirements
- Valid California medical license with no disciplinary history
- Board-certified in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Medicine/Pediatrics
- Current DEA license and BLS certification
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in ambulatory pediatrics, including supervisory and administrative responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience in community-based or FQHC settings and serving the Black community
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
