Position Title: IT Asset Management (ITAM) Practice Leader
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-site Only)
Employment Type: Full-time
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on IT Asset Management (ITAM) Practice Leader to take ownership of the complete IT asset lifecycle-from procurement to disposal. This role is key to ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with regulations, and optimization of technology resources. The ITAM Practice Leader will work closely with cross-functional teams including technology, security, business, and executive leadership to implement and maintain effective ITAM practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets including procurement, tracking, deployment, and disposal.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize ITAM policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate across business and technical units to drive ITAM value and risk mitigation.
  • Lead and support a team of ITAM Analysts.
  • Conduct regular audits, reporting, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Generate ITAM reports, scorecards, KPIs, KRIs, and End-of-Life tracking metrics for leadership.
  • Stay informed on FFIEC, NIST, and CoBIT standards; identify emerging trends and areas for process improvement.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in ITAM risk assessment and governance efforts.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT asset management or related IT roles.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing ITAM policies and tools.
  • Familiarity with IT compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FFIEC, CoBIT) is a strong plus.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in enterprise-level IT environments.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with reporting tools and ITAM dashboards.
  • Background in financial services or heavily regulated industries.
  • ITIL, CSAM, or other ITAM-related certifications (desirable but not mandatory)
