JOB DETAILS:
Ratios: 1:1
Shift: 12hr DAYS No OT billed until after 40 hours. 13 weeks only
Call Requirement: 1-2 12hr shifts every 2 weeks
Float Requirement: Support for inpatient units as needed
Weekend Requirement: every other weekend
**Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: New Hanover Regional Health System provides surgical services that support multi-specialty inpatient, outpatient, and emergent surgical procedures. Procedures include Cardiothoracic, General, Vascular, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Urology, EENT, OB/GYN, Plastics, OMF, Trauma, Dental, Pediatric, Neonatal, Endoscopy and, Organ harvesting
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS and EPIC
SCHEDULING TYPE: self scheduling but the manager determines the final schedule.
UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours
SCRUBS: provided by unit
