The pay ranges from $13.61 to $19.05 per hour, with overtime at time and a half. Your passion for delivering excellent customer service will shine through as you support our automotive repair experts in a vital role, engaging with clients and ensuring a smooth service experience. Your day as a Service Porter

As a Full-Time Service Porter at Community Automotive Repair, your daily responsibilities will be crucial in providing top-notch customer service. You'll actively engage with customers by offering shuttle rides, creating a seamless experience from start to finish. In addition, you'll work closely with technicians and the shop manager to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your role includes moving cars, cleaning, and maintaining a tidy workspace, contributing to a professional environment. By taking on these general labor tasks, you will not only assist the team but also gain valuable experience as a shop helper, all while ensuring that our operations remain organized and customer-focused.

What we're looking for in a Service Porter

To excel as a Full-Time Service Porter at Community Automotive Repair, several essential skills are necessary for success. You must be physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs, as this role involves moving vehicles and performing general labor tasks. A valid driver's license is required, and proficiency in driving a stick shift manual transmission is essential for operating our diverse fleet of cars. Strong customer service skills are vital, as you will interact with clients regularly while offering shuttle rides and assisting in maintaining an efficient environment. If you are someone who enjoys both people and cars, this position will be a perfect fit, allowing you to combine your passion with practical work.

Being a proactive team player will further enhance your ability to support technicians and the shop manager effectively.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Able to lift 70 lbs.
