Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Preparing and organizing the operating room to assist in surgical procedures
  • Maintaining sterile fields while strictly adhering to infection control protocols
  • Efficiently handing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical team members
  • Managing surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures with utmost care
  • Monitoring inventory and ensuring readiness of supplies for each surgery
  • Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical personnel for optimal patient care
  • Maintaining precise surgical counts and necessary documentation
Education Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program is essential
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is also required
Certifications Needed:
  • A current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is required
  • BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
