Project Manager/Scrum Master

Project Planning and Management:
Manage project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, manage JIRA/Kanban board and process flow.
Scrum Management:
- Lead Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices.
- Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating communication and resolving impediments.
- Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, confluence, etc.) is a must.
Accountability and Ownership:
- Take full ownership of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Monitor project progress, communicate issues and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain clear and continual communication with IT leadership, providing regular project updates.
Team Collaboration:
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Encourage team members to take accountability for their work and contributions to the project.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them to understand their roles and responsibilities.
Follow-up and Timeliness:
- Diligently follow up on project timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure all tasks and activities are completed according to the project schedule.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure projects remain on track and address any deviations promptly.
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering Technical Communications or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to communicate with architects and technical leaders to understand technology/technical-related choices and create related stories
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience and working with Software Development teams.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with Project Management tools such as JIRA, MS Project Plan, etc.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Understanding of Mobile, Web, and RESTful backend APIs
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Experience working as a Scrum Master
- Experience working with remote teams in different time zones.
- Experience leading software development teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Any Project Management/Scrum Master/Cloud Certifications are a plus.
- Any previous Software Development experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, Quality Analyst, or Software Developer is a plus.
- Experience working with Vendors and cross-functional teams.
